Jordan 🇯🇴 - Day 3 & 4 - Amman
Day 3 started nicely with a breakfast on the rooftop terrace, like the day before.
We then set off shortly after noon to head to the Museum of Parliamentary life of Jordan, walking through the famous Rainbow Street.
It was a fascinating museum retracing the short history of Jordan until today, with the succession of kings.
They also explain how the political system and the lawmaking process in Jordan. I always find it interesting to learn about the political system of a country I visit.
We continued wandering through the lively streets of Amman, up and down the numerous hills of the city.
Eventually, we arrived at the citadel right for sunset—which is just after 5pm at that time of year.
We enjoyed the nice view over the city for a bit, but had to leave soon after as the site was closing for the night.
In the evening, we met up with 2 of mum’s new friends for dinner in a local restaurant.
The next morning, we went for breakfast in a well known sort of street food place which serves breakfast.
They serve at the table but the vibe is more that of a street food place than a western restaurant.
We also had very popular desert dish in another place. It was very sweet and rich so we all didn’t enjoy it that much.
We then headed back to the car and took the road to Dana nature reserve.
